Role Description The Physician Assistant will work full time on-site in Villupuram, supporting physicians in the assessment and management of critically ill patients.

Day-to-day responsibilities include taking detailed histories, performing focused physical examinations, ordering and following up on diagnostic tests, and assisting in procedures as per protocols and scope of practice.

The role involves monitoring patient progress, updating care plans, documenting clinical notes, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds to coordinate care with nurses, therapists, and specialists.



The Physician Assistant will provide patient and family education about diagnoses, treatments, and care plans.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification as a Physician Assistant or equivalent like critical care technologist with valid registration/license as required
• Strong documentation and medical record-keeping skills, including clear, concise clinical note writing and familiarity with hospital information systems.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff in a high-acuity environment.
• Ability to work in shifts, manage multiple priorities under pressure, and maintain attention to detail in rapid-paced clinical situations.
