Role Description The Bakery Head Chef is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram, responsible for overseeing daily production of cakes, pastries, and other bakery items. This role includes planning and executing the baking schedule, supervising the kitchen team, and ensuring recipes and designs meet brand standards. The Bakery Head Chef will manage ingredient ordering, inventory, and quality control, while maintaining hygiene, food safety, and efficient workstation organization. The role involves developing new products and designs,



coordinating with front-of-house and online order teams to fulfill custom and same-day orders, and training team members to uphold consistent quality and presentation.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in baking and pastry techniques, including sponge cakes, mousse cakes, fondant work, and artisan desserts.
• Experience in kitchen leadership, including team supervision, shift planning, and workflow coordination in a commercial bakery or pastry kitchen.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Demonstrated creativity in cake design, flavor pairing, and product innovation aligned with premium designer cake offerings.
• Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and cost control while maintaining product quality.
