Role Description The Mold Designer for Plastic Packaging Injection Molds is responsible for designing high-precision molds for caps, closures, and related plastic components. This full-time, in office role is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and involves creating and refining 3D and 2D mold designs, selecting appropriate tooling concepts,



and ensuring manufacturability and durability of the molds. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with design and production teams, reviewing product drawings and specifications, performing design calculations, and optimizing mold layouts for cycle time, quality, and ease of maintenance. The role also includes supporting mold trials, resolving design-related issues on the shop floor, updating design documentation, and adhering to safety and quality standards. The designer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications
