1. Job Purpose

The Inside Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating and qualifying sales enquiries, customer follow-up, preparing and coordinating quotations, maintaining the sales pipeline, and converting enquiries into orders.

The candidate will work closely with the Sales, Estimation, Engineering, Purchase, Stores and Project teams to ensure timely response to customers and effective closure of business opportunities.

The role is particularly focused on Synergie's Industrial Automation, Siemens products, PLC/HMI/SCADA, Drives, Control Panels, MCC/PCC Panels, automation projects and services.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Lead Generation & Customer Development

* Generate new leads through:

* Cold calling




* Email campaigns
* LinkedIn
* Existing customer references
* Online enquiries
* Industrial databases
* Customer mapping
* Identify potential customers in:

* Steel and metals
* Manufacturing industries
* OEMs
* EPC contractors
* System integrators
* Panel builders
* Pharma
* Food & Beverage
* Packaging
* Water treatment
* Cement, glass, rubber, sugar and other industries
* Develop and maintain a database of prospective customers.
* Identify decision-makers such as Purchase, Electrical, Automation, Maintenance, Projects and Plant Heads.
B. Enquiry Management

* Receive and understand customer enquiries.
* Review technical requirements, BOQ, BOM, specifications and drawings.
* Clarify missing information with customers.
* Register every enquiry in the CRM/system.
* Categorize enquiries based on product, project value, customer and probability.
* Ensure no enquiry or customer follow-up is missed.
