Location: Kothur Plant - Hyderabad

Qualification & Exp.: Diploma with 8-10 Years experience or Degree with 5-8 yrs experience Mechanical, Production Engineering

Job Description:

Essential

To conduct feasibility study for new enquiry

Part to be convert in process - Concept fixturing

Communicate progress on tasks to direct supervisor

Create detailed 3D/2D designs & drawings for Fix & part

Produce detail drawings & BOM to update in SAP

Ensure our concepts meets design standards.

Strong in Knowledge of GD&T; & tolerance stacking.

Focused on fit/function details while designing fixtures

Participate in CFT design reviews and analysis

Works with RFQ/costing to provide information that will aid in the initial quoting process

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Work to schedule time lines for efficient releases.

Desirable

Ensures design for manufacturability

Handle customer for process issues.

Execute action plan trigerred from customer observations.

Collaborate with Quality on GD&T; print tolerances

Adhere to all ISO procedures pertaining to job responsibilities





Complies and follows all procedures within the company security policy

Ability to work in fast paced / team environment & shifts

Provide guidance to Prove-out Team

Reqd 3D Solid-Works & 2D-CAD experience

Strong interpersonal, communication skills

Hands on Mechanical, Hydraulic Fixturing

Reqd GD&T; knowledge for automobile & non-auto parts from Cast Iron, forging.

Prepare stagewise drawing of parts

Define PFC, PFMEA, Work Instruction & ECN documentation knowledge

Desirable

Should have knowledge for heavy parts

Process & Presentation skill

Knowledge @ new generation modular concepts, higher end hydraulic elements, electrical interface with machine.

Should have solid trouble shooting and analytical thinking skills

Ready to work in shifts
