Job Title: Civil Head / General Manager – Projects (Civil)
Industry: Steel Plant / Manufacturing / Infrastructure / Industrial Projects
Department: Projects / Civil Engineering
Experience: 15–25 Years in Industrial / Steel Plant / Infrastructure Projects
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage civil construction and project activities from planning to commissioning.
- Handle major industrial projects including plant buildings, foundations, structures, roads, drainage, warehouses and utility areas.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets and execution plans.
- Supervise contractors, consultants and civil construction teams.
- Ensure construction work is completed as per approved drawings,



specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Purchase and Project departments.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
- Review BOQ, estimates, billing, measurements and contractor bills.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical/construction issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and statutory requirements.
- Track project costs and control delays and material wastage.
- Prepare regular MIS and project progress reports for management.
