Core Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight: Manage daily billing cycles, charge entries, claims submissions, and payment postings.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor billing specialists or coordinators.
- Dispute & Denial Resolution: Track, analyze, and resolve billing disputes, customer inquiries, and claim denials.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile billing accounts with the general ledger and generate regular metric and aging reports for senior management.
- Compliance & Policy: Develop internal billing procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
