1. Job Purpose

To provide excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards of hospitality, hygiene, and service quality.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, explain menu items, and recommend food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Ensure tables are properly set up and maintained according to hotel standards.
- Attend to guest requests, feedback, and complaints courteously.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, stewarding, and service team for smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant and service areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hotel service standards.
- Prepare the restaurant for service and complete closing duties as assigned.
- Ensure correct billing procedures and coordinate with the cashier when required.
- Handle hotel equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware carefully.
- Follow grooming standards, attendance rules,



and departmental policies.
- Participate in training sessions and departmental briefings.

3. Qualifications and Experience

- Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass; hospitality qualification preferred.
- Experience: 0–2 years in hotel or restaurant service; freshers may be considered for trainee positions.
- Skills: Valuable communication, customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic English communication is preferred.
