1. Job SummaryThe Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. The candidate will coordinate with engineers, contractors, labourers, and vendors to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

1. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision: Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions from the Project Manager or Site Engineer.
2. Labour Management: Allocate daily work to labourers and subcontractors, monitor their productivity, and ensure optimum utilization of manpower.
3. Material Management: Monitor the receipt, storage, and consumption of construction materials and maintain proper material records.
4. Quality Control: Ensure the quality of construction work and report defects, deviations, or discrepancies to the concerned engineer.
5. Progress Monitoring: Monitor daily work progress against the project schedule and report delays or issues to management.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure workers follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
7. Coordination: Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors, machine operators, and other project personnel for timely execution of work.
8. Record Keeping: Maintain daily site reports, labour attendance, material consumption records, equipment usage records, and work progress reports.

Equipment Monitoring: Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of construction machinery, tools, and equipment at the site.
10. Measurement and Billing Support: Assist in taking site measurements, verifying quantities executed, and preparing records required for contractor bills.
11. Problem Reporting: Immediately report site issues, material shortages, safety incidents, and technical difficulties to the reporting authority.
12. Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and proper organization at the project site.

- 3. Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum qualification: ITI / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
- Knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, and basic technical drawings.
- Basic computer knowledge and the ability to maintain site records will be an advantage.

5. Performance ExpectationsThe Site Supervisor will be evaluated based on timely completion of assigned work, quality of execution, labour productivity, material utilization, safety compliance, and accuracy of site records.

6. Working ConditionsThe position requires regular presence at the construction site, coordination with site personnel, and adherence to project working hours and safety policies.

Note: The employee shall perform any other site-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or authorized management representative from time to time.
