Job Description – API Automation Engineer (5–7 Years)Role Summary
We are hiring an API Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in software testing and solid expertise in automating REST APIs. The candidate should be proficient in Java, Rest Assured, Postman, SQL, and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain robust API automation frameworks using Java and Rest Assured.
• Design, execute, and maintain automated test cases for RESTful APIs.
• Validate API responses, request payloads, headers, status codes, and business rules.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL.
• Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins or other CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify, report, and track defects.
• Contribute to test strategy, regression suites, and overall automation coverage.
