The Assistant Manager, Client Accounting supports the Client Accounting Manager in delivering high-quality accounting services to a portfolio of Guernsey-based Private Wealth and Corporate structures. The role plays a key part in ensuring the timely preparation, review, and delivery of financial information while maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy, client service, and regulatory compliance.
The Assistant Manager will supervise and support a team of accountants, perform detailed reviews of accounting work, and act as a deputy to the Client Accounting Manager, helping to ensure that all deliverables are complete, accurate, appropriately supported and ready for Manager review.

​Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of accounting services for a portfolio of Private Wealth and Corporate structures ensuring deliverables are prepared in accordance with agreed deadlines, service standards and quality expectations
• Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and client-facing teams to support effective delivery




• Identify and respond to accounting queries and assist in resolving technical issues, errors, inconsistencies and areas of risk, escalating matters where appropriate
• Review accounting records, reconciliations, working papers, financial statements and other deliverables prepared by the team, ensure they are technically accurate, complete, appropriately evidenced and compliant with internal requirements and accounting standards
• Support the Client Accounting Manager in maintaining robust control and review procedures across the team
• Provide day-to-day guidance, supervision and technical support to accountants within the team
• Assist with workload planning and resource allocation to ensure deadlines are met
• Support the development of team members through coaching, training, onboarding and regular feedback
