Role Description The Workshop Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring all maintenance, repair, and service activities are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities include planning and assigning work to technicians, monitoring workflow, managing tools and inventory, and coordinating with other departments to support hospitality operations. The role also involves implementing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising inspections, maintaining records, and enforcing safety and compliance procedures.

The Workshop

Manager will handle vendor coordination, cost control, and basic budgeting related to workshop activities, while mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Goa, India.

Qualifications

- Solid workshop operations management skills, including planning, scheduling, and workflow oversight.




- Experience supervising technical staff, with the ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team.
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair processes, tools, equipment handling, and safety standards.
- Competence in documentation, record-keeping, and using basic computer applications for reporting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal departments and external vendors.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Prior experience in a workshop, maintenance, or facilities management role; exposure to hospitality operations is an advantage.
