Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Windows/Linux Automation & Monitoring Engineer to manage, automate, and monitor IT infrastructure and systems. The candidate should have solid experience in Windows and Linux administration, scripting, monitoring tools, incident management, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Implement and manage infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance monitoring solutions.
- Monitor system health, availability, CPU, memory, disk utilization, and application performance.
- Troubleshoot system issues, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis.
- Handle incident management, problem resolution, and preventive maintenance.
- Automate routine operational tasks, system checks, patching, and configuration activities.
- Support server performance optimization, capacity planning, and system reliability.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application support,



and DevOps teams to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation, monitoring dashboards, and operational procedures.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of server performance monitoring, log analysis, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in automation of infrastructure operations and repetitive tasks.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, system services, and incident management.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, ticketing systems, and root cause analysis.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure automation practices.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- ITIL certification or relevant infrastructure certifications.
