Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Wedding Planner role based in New Delhi.

The Wedding

Planner will work directly with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget, and translate these into detailed wedding plans and timelines. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with vendors, venues, and internal teams, managing bookings and logistics, and ensuring smooth execution of all ceremonies and events. The role involves creating event schedules, tracking budgets, preparing checklists, and proactively resolving any issues that arise before or during events.

Planner will also provide high-touch customer service, maintain clear communication with clients and partners, and contribute ideas that align with Bandbaajaa.com’s focus on unique and trendsetting weddings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Planning and Event Planning skills to manage multiple wedding events and timelines effectively.
- Candidates should possess specialized Wedding Planning experience, including vendor coordination, ceremony sequencing, and on-the-day management.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to create, track, and optimize wedding budgets while maintaining quality and client expectations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build trust, handle client queries, and deliver a positive, professional experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate with vendors and venues.
- Prior experience in weddings, events, hospitality, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Relevant education in event management, hospitality, or a similar discipline is an advantage.
