Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Web Development Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern, scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.

The role combines technical leadership, software architecture, people management, and delivery ownership. The candidate will lead frontend and backend engineers, establish engineering best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliable delivery of business-critical web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Engineering Leadership

- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of web applications.
- Drive architecture and technical design decisions for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, reusable components, and engineering best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and technical/architecture discussions.
- Identify and address technical debt, performance, scalability, and security concerns.
- Evaluate and recommend relevant emerging technologies.

Web Application Development

- Guide development of responsive web applications using contemporary frontend technologies, particularly React.js.
- Oversee backend services and APIs using Node.js, Python/FastAPI, or equivalent frameworks.
- Ensure effective integration between frontend applications, APIs, databases, authentication systems, and external services.




- Promote modular architecture and reusable UI components.
- Ensure applications meet requirements for performance, accessibility, usability, reliability, and browser compatibility.

Software Delivery & Agile

- Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Drive predictable delivery while maintaining software quality.
- Track risks, dependencies, blockers, and technical constraints.
- Balance feature delivery with technical debt, platform improvements, and operational requirements.

DevOps, CI/CD & Cloud

- Promote automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Platform teams to improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Support containerized and cloud-native application deployments.
- Promote automated quality checks, security scanning, and deployment controls.
- Ensure appropriate monitoring, logging, observability, and operational readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
- Strong experience with React.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Backend experience with Node.js and/or Python.
- Experience with FastAPI or similar API frameworks.
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs.
