Business Development Executive – Targeted Sales

About the Role

Washing Bells is looking for an energetic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive customer acquisition and business growth through targeted sales activities.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating leads, developing partnerships and converting prospects into regular customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and target potential customers across Zirakpur, Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.

* Generate new business through field sales, cold calling, WhatsApp outreach, referrals and direct meetings.

* Develop and maintain relationships with residential societies, corporates, hotels, PGs, salons, spas, boutiques, gyms, restaurants and other potential business clients.

* Acquire B2B and B2C customers for laundry, dry-cleaning, ironing, shoe cleaning and other services.

* Identify high-potential customer segments and create targeted sales plans.

* Approach and onboard channel partners, including local laundry and dry-cleaning businesses.

* Conduct regular field visits and meetings with prospective customers.

* Explain Washing Bells’ services, pricing, offers and pickup & delivery facilities to prospects.

* Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.

* Maintain a database of leads, prospects, customers and business partners.

* Achieve assigned monthly sales and customer acquisition targets.

* Track daily sales activities, leads generated, conversions and revenue.





* Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

* Monitor competitor activity and identify current business opportunities in the local market.

* Build long-term relationships with key accounts and encourage repeat business.

Targeted Sales Focus

The candidate will specifically be responsible for targeting:

* Residential societies and apartments

* Corporate offices

* Hotels and guest houses

* PGs and hostels

* Salons and spas

* Boutiques and fashion stores

* Gyms and fitness centres

* Restaurants and hospitality businesses

* Schools and institutions

* Local businesses requiring regular laundry/dry-cleaning services

* Existing laundry/dry-cleaning businesses for channel partnerships

Requirements

* 1–3 years of experience in Business Development / Field Sales / Direct Sales / B2B Sales preferred.

* Freshers with strong communication and sales skills may also apply.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Comfortable with field sales and meeting customers/business owners.

* Target-oriented and self-motivated.

* Good knowledge of the local Tricity market will be an advantage.

* Ability to generate leads independently and convert them into business.

* Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools.

* Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred for field sales.
