Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tendering and Estimation Engineer to handle tender preparation, cost estimation, BOQ analysis, and commercial proposals for electrical projects, including transformers, LT panels, and solar power projects.

1. Roles and ResponsibilitiesIdentify and analyze government, PSU, EPC, and private-sector tenders related to electrical equipment and projects.
2. Prepare technical and commercial tender documents in accordance with customer specifications and tender requirements.
3. Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, material costing, labour costing, and project pricing.
4. Analyze transformer, LT panel, HT panel, and solar project specifications.
5. Coordinate with the design, production, purchase, accounts, and sales teams to obtain costing and technical details.
6. Prepare quotations, techno-commercial offers, comparative statements, and cost sheets.
7. Review tender conditions, eligibility criteria, EMD, PBG, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranty requirements.
8. Prepare and submit e-tenders through relevant government and PSU portals,



including GeM and other e-procurement portals.
9. Coordinate with customers and tender authorities for technical clarifications, corrigenda, and bid-related queries.
10. Maintain tender records, quotation follow-ups, order status, and a database of submitted bids.
11. Ensure timely submission of accurate and competitive bids while maintaining the company's target profit margins.
12. Support the sales team in order follow-ups and commercial negotiations.

- Required SkillsGood knowledge of electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
- Experience in tender documentation and electrical cost estimation.
- Knowledge of BOQ, BOM, GST, EMD, PBG, and commercial terms.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and online tender portals.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, technical specifications, and SLDs.
- Solid analytical, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Preferred ExperienceExperience in transformer manufacturing, LT panels, electrical contracting, solar power projects, or electrical EPC companies will be an added advantage.
