Healthcare Recruiter – Job Role & Responsibilities

1. Key responsibilities

Candidate sourcing: Find candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and databases.

Healthcare recruitment: Recruit doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical technicians, allied health professionals, and healthcare support staff.

Screening and shortlisting: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and check qualifications and relevant experience.

Interview coordination: Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

Credential verification: Coordinate verification of qualifications, registrations, licenses, and work experience as required for the role.

Offer management: Discuss salary expectations, coordinate offers, and follow up until candidates join.

Stakeholder management: Work with hospital HR teams, department heads,



and hiring managers to understand staffing needs.

Recruitment tracking: Maintain candidate records, update applicant tracking systems (ATS), and prepare recruitment reports.

Follow-ups: Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process and maintain a positive candidate experience.
