Job Description – Shift Incharge / Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise daily production activities during the assigned shift.

- Execute the production plan while maintaining Quality, Cost, Safety and Efficiency as per SOP.

- Develop, implement and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards including HACCP, GMP and FSSC.

- Plan production schedules and ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.

- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement.

- Minimize material wastage, manpower wastage and production costs.

- Supervise operators, helpers, junior staff and labour working on the production floor.

- Allocate work and monitor employee productivity during the shift.





- Train current employees, helpers and production workers.

- Ensure employees follow proper personal hygiene and plant hygiene practices.

- Monitor machinery and equipment used in production and coordinate for required maintenance.

- Identify production issues and take corrective action to avoid delays.

- Maintain proper production documentation and daily production reports.

- Maintain stock records and prepare/update month-end stock sheets.

- Ensure products meet required quality standards and production timelines.

- Resolve operational and manpower-related issues during the shift.
