Key Responsibilities
- Protected & Smart Packing: Pack groceries or retail goods into paper, plastic, or reusable bags. Place heavy or durable items at the bottom, keep cold/frozen items together, and cushion fragile items like glass or eggs. [1, 2]
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, ask about bagging preferences, and offer carry-out service to help load bags into customer vehicles. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Checkout Support: Coordinate smoothly with cashiers to keep checkout lines moving quickly and check carts for missed items. [1, 2]
- Cart Retrieval: Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the store vestibule. [1, 2]
- Station Maintenance: Restock bags, boxes, and supplies at checkout stands. Clean up spills, sweep floors, and help keep the front-end area tidy. [1, 2]
