We are looking for an experienced WebSphere Commerce (WCS) Engineer to join our team on a 6-month remote contract . The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in IBM WebSphere Commerce development, customization, integration, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS/HCL Commerce) applications.
- Design and implement scalable eCommerce solutions.
- Integrate WCS with external systems, including payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS/HCL Commerce) .
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and Spring Framework .
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services and system integrations.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
- Experience with application servers such as WebSphere Application
