Role Description The Waste Water Treatment (WWTP) Proposal Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for developing technical and commercial proposals for wastewater treatment projects, including reviewing client requirements, analyzing feasibility, and designing appropriate treatment solutions.

Daily activities include coordinating with engineering, sales teams to gather inputs, preparing cost estimates and bid documents, and ensuring proposals meet technical standards, regulatory norms, and customer expectations.

The Proposal

Manager will participate in client meetings, respond to technical queries, support tender presentations, and maintain a database of proposals, benchmarks, and market intelligence.



The role also involves refining proposal formats, improving estimation methodologies, and contributing to continuous improvement in bid win rates and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, WWTP design principles, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial and municipal applications.
- Experience in proposal development, bid management, and tender documentation for engineering or environmental projects.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, including process descriptions, equipment specifications, and cost estimation worksheets.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills for evaluating design alternatives, sizing equipment, and preparing budgets and cost-benefit analyses.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to collaborate with internal teams and engage professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort with relevant software tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and basic familiarity with engineering or design software is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree or specialized training in wastewater treatment is beneficial.
- Prior experience in the water or wastewater treatment industry, especially in proposal or project engineering roles, is strongly preferred.
