Role & responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC, VMC (Vertical Machining Center), and HMC (Horizontal Machining Center) machines.

- Perform machine setting, job changeover, tool offset correction, and program loading.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and GD&T; specifications.

- Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of components.

- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and Dial Indicator.

- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary parameter adjustments.

- Maintain cycle time, productivity, and quality targets.

- Perform preventive maintenance and daily machine checks.

- Follow 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and safety standards on the shop floor.

- Maintain production and inspection records.
