Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Engineer SMT & FATP responsible for ensuring process and product quality across SMT and FATP assembly lines. The role will involve process monitoring, defect analysis, root-cause identification, and driving corrective and preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and control process quality across SMT and FATP production lines.

- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections as per defined standards.

- Identify and analyze defects related to PCBAs, soldering, component placement, assembly, and testing.

- Monitor key quality parameters, rejection, rework, and defect trends.

- Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, NPI, Testing and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.

- Ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans and quality standards.

- Conduct process audits and layered process audits on SMT/FATP lines.

Required Skills:

- Robust knowledge of SMT and FATP processes.

- Knowledge of PCB/PCBA assembly and soldering defects.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

- Hands-on experience in electronics/EMS manufacturing preferred.
