Role Overview

As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of Lenskart at the store. You will be responsible for creating an excellent customer experience, understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable eyewear products and achieving individual as well as store sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Handling & Experience

- Welcome and engage with customers visiting the store.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences and budget.
- Guide customers towards the eye-test/clinic as required.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle customer queries and resolve basic concerns professionally.

2. Sales & Product Recommendation

- Recommend suitable frames, lenses, sunglasses and accessories based on customer needs.
- Explain product features, benefits, pricing, offers and available options.
- Drive sales through effective product presentation, upselling and cross-selling.
- Achieve assigned individual and store-level sales targets.
- Contribute towards key store KPIs such as conversion and Average Transaction Value (ATV).

3. Billing & Order Management

- Process customer orders and billing accurately through the POS system.
- Ensure correct customer and order details are captured.
- Coordinate with the store/warehouse team for product delivery and pickup.
- Support customers with order tracking, collections and after-sales requirements.
- Understand and appropriately handle product returns or customer concerns.

4. Store Operations

- Maintain proper product display and visual merchandising standards.




- Ensure frames, sunglasses and other products are clean and well presented.
- Assist with stock checks, stocktakes and inventory management.
- Highlight inventory discrepancies, damaged products or shortages to the Store Manager.
- Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene and overall Lenskart standards.
- Follow all company SOPs and operational guidelines.

5. Teamwork & Compliance

- Support the Store Manager in daily store operations.
- Work effectively with the sales and optometry team.
- Participate in promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality and professional conduct.
- Be flexible to work in rotational shifts, weekends and holidays as per store requirements.

Candidate Profile

Education:

- Minimum 12th Pass
- Graduates preferred

Experience:

- Freshers can apply.
- Experience in retail sales, showroom sales, fashion/lifestyle, consumer electronics, telecom, hospitality or customer service will be an advantage.
