About the Role

We are looking for a Voice AI Engineer who has strong software development experience and hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade Voice AI systems.

The ideal candidate should have experience taking Voice AI solutions beyond prototypes and deploying systems that handle real customer calls in production.

You will work across Voice AI, LLMs, telephony, CRM integrations, APIs and workflow automation, owning solutions from design through production and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build production-ready Voice AI agents for inbound and outbound calling.
- Develop conversational flows, prompts, business logic, qualification and objection-handling workflows.
- Integrate and optimize STT, TTS and LLM providers.
- Work on live-call challenges including latency, interruptions, silence, voicemail detection and call quality.
- Build Voice AI systems supporting Indian languages and Hinglish.
- Integrate telephony providers, SIP/cloud telephony and dialler systems.
- Build reliable calling campaigns with concurrency, retry and scheduling logic.
- Implement warm transfer from AI agents to human agents while passing call context.
- Integrate Voice AI agents with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM or similar CRM platforms.
- Push call outcomes, transcripts, summaries and dispositions into CRM systems.
- Build REST API, webhook and system integrations across telephony, CRM, WhatsApp and email.
- Design workflow automation using n8n, Make, Zapier or code-based solutions.
- Monitor production systems for uptime, latency, errors and conversation quality.
- Implement transcript reviews,



automated scoring and A/B testing for prompts and scripts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable calling regulations, DND/DNC requirements, calling-hour rules and consent handling.
- Troubleshoot production issues and maintain technical documentation/runbooks.
- Work closely with delivery, data and campaign teams during client onboarding.

Mandatory Requirements
- 6–8 years total experience with 4–5 years of professional software development experience and 2–3 years of hands-on Voice AI development.
- Proven experience building and deploying Voice AI systems in production.
- Solid hands-on experience with Python or Node.js.
- Strong REST API, webhook, JSON and authentication experience.
- Hands-on CRM integration experience.
- Strong understanding of LLM-based conversational AI, prompting, tool calling and guardrails.
- Experience with telephony providers and Voice AI platforms/frameworks.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Git.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.

Preferred Skills Experience with one or more of:

Vapi, Retell AI, Bland AI, LiveKit Agents, Pipecat, Deepgram, AssemblyAI, Sarvam AI, Whisper, ElevenLabs, Cartesia, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Twilio, Plivo, Exotel, SIP, WebRTC, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Frappe CRM, GoHighLevel, n8n, Make, Zapier, WhatsApp Business API.

Good to Have

- Indian-language speech model experience
- Enterprise AI deployment experience
- Basic DevOps / CI-CD / logging / monitoring
- Lead management and CRM workflow experience
- Experience mentoring junior engineers

Important Candidates must have taken at least one Voice AI system to production and handled real customer calls. Candidates with only prototype/demo experience will not be considered.
