Job Responsibilities

- * Operate and program VMC machines for plastic injection mould manufacturing and maintenance.
- * Machine mould components, cores, cavities, inserts, and precision tool room parts.
- * Develop, edit, and modify CNC programs as per engineering drawings.
- * Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- * Perform machine setting, tool setting, workpiece alignment, and offset adjustments.
- * Select suitable cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- * Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Height Gauge to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- * Coordinate with mould designers, tool room engineers, and mould fitters for mould development and repair work.
- * Ensure quality standards, machine maintenance,



and workplace safety.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a VMC Operator and Programmer in a plastic injection moulding tool room.
- Robust knowledge of plastic injection mould components, including cores, cavities, inserts, and mould plates.
- Practical experience in CNC/VMC programming, program editing, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and perform precision machining independently.

Candidate Profile

Candidates must have relevant experience in plastic injection mould manufacturing or mould maintenance. Preference will be given to candidates who can independently handle VMC machine operation, programming, and precision mould machining.
