We are looking for a video editor with a robust visual sense and an understanding of social media content. The ideal candidate should be able to transform raw footage into engaging, well-paced videos that capture attention and communicate a clear story.

Job Summary

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and social media content for multiple brands.

You should understand what makes content engaging, from the first two seconds and visual hooks to pacing, music, transitions, storytelling, and overall creative flow.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and social media content.
- Convert raw footage into engaging and well-paced videos.
- Select the strongest shots and create a clear visual flow.
- Add music, sound effects, subtitles, text animation, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
- Edit content for food, hospitality, lifestyle, fashion, brands, and founder-led businesses.
- Create multiple versions or variations of content when required.
- Follow creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Work closely with the creative and content teams.
- Understand feedback and implement revisions quickly.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated with current Instagram, Reels, and short-form video trends.
- Take ownership of projects from raw footage to final export.

What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in video editing; freelance experience is also considered.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
- Good understanding of pacing,



composition, music, and storytelling.
- Strong visual and creative judgement.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Good communication and willingness to accept feedback.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different brand styles.

Software Skills Candidates should be comfortable working with at least one of the following:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut

Good to have:

- Motion graphics
- After Effects
- Basic colour grading
- Sound design
- Subtitle and text animation

Creative Thinking Matters At Saltea Studio, you will work with different brands, industries, audiences, and visual styles.

We are looking for someone who can think beyond simply cutting footage and understands questions such as:

- What will make someone stop scrolling?
- Is the first 2 seconds strong enough?
- Where should the cut happen?
- Does the music fit the story?
- Can this footage be made more interesting?
- Does the edit match the brand and its audience?

Editing skills are important. Creative thinking is equally important.

Salary ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month, depending on skills, experience, and portfolio.
