Job Summary

Chate's Advertising is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for editing podcast videos and converting long-form content into engaging short videos for YouTube and Instagram.

The ideal candidate should have a valuable understanding of video editing, storytelling, pacing, and social media content formats. We are looking for someone who can turn raw footage into polished, engaging videos while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form podcast videos for YouTube with smooth transitions, proper pacing, and a professional finish.
- Create engaging YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels from podcast recordings.
- Add subtitles, captions, text animations, graphics, background music, and sound effects wherever required.
- Improve video and audio quality to ensure a clear and professional final output.
- Identify engaging moments from long videos and convert them into attention-grabbing short clips.
- Maintain consistency in video quality, style, and presentation.
- Format and export videos according to the requirements of different social media platforms.
- Organize raw footage, project files, and final video exports properly.
- Coordinate with the content team to understand editing requirements and implement feedback.
- Complete assigned projects within deadlines without compromising quality.




- Keep up with current video editing techniques and social media content trends.

Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in video editing for YouTube, Instagram, or other digital platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, text animation, and audio editing is an advantage.
- Good understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement.
- Ability to create both long-form videos and short-form content.
- Attention to detail and a creative approach to editing.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand feedback and make revisions when required.
- A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work will be an advantage.
