Job Summary The Training Specialist – Specialty Training delivers the specialty certification layer that sits between New Hire Training (NHT) and Process-Specific Training. This is a dedicated, client-agnostic role — it does not sit within any single client's training team, but instead certifies new hires across the organization on specialty-specific nuances (Dental, Home Care, SNF/Home Health, Behavioral Health, Urgent Care, Ambulatory Surgery, Rehab/PT/OT, DME/HME, Ambulance Billing, Retail Health, Radiology/Infusion, and others as the portfolio expands) before they proceed into process training. The role supports new hire onboarding, delivers the Specialty Bridge Program and certification, provides on-demand specialty inputs during process training, supports adjacent-market and transition readiness, and sustains proficiency through continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with the Solutions team to help populate the Talent Development section of RFP responses, assessing existing knowledge-bank readiness against the specialties named in the chance
- Partner with the NHT team during core RCM induction batches to introduce specialty awareness early, sharing a preview of the specialty landscape and terminology relevant to each associate's eventual specialty
- Flag associates who may need additional specialty runway before the Bridge Program begins
- Step in to support NHT on foundational RCM training delivery during periods when the team is engaged on Adjacent Market Transition activities,

ensuring induction batches are not disrupted; provide backup facilitation capacity during peak hiring volumes or resource-constrained periods, and hand batches back to the NHT team once bandwidth is restored
- Deliver the structured Specialty Bridge Program, covering specialty-specific terminology, coding/billing requirements, regulatory considerations, reimbursement methodologies, and payer guidelines
- Cover common denial patterns and resolution approaches specific to each specialty
- Conduct certification assessments and certify only associates who clear the defined threshold to proceed to Process-Specific Training
- Build and continuously maintain the specialty knowledge bank used to support the Bridge Program
- Support Process-Specific Training only on an as-needed basis — stepping in when the Process Training team flags a specialty-correlation gap — helping associates connect specialty nuances to process/client workflows without authoring or owning process-specific content
- Provide subject-matter clarification on specialty-linked scenarios during process training, on request
- Support training interventions from the transition phase for new specialty or adjacent-market rollouts, and build Bridge-Program-ready content ahead of go-live for new specialties entering the portfolio
- Cross-skill associates into adjacent specialties to enable faster ramp-up when existing associates move across specialty lines
- Contribute to specialty-specific manager playbooks that help floor managers reinforce specialty standards post-certification
- Support the learning architecture that governs how specialty content hands off into Process-Specific Training
- Run periodic knowledge checks and refresher certifications for associates already on the floor
- Update specialty content based on payer policy changes, regulatory updates, and emerging denial trends
- Curate best practices and case studies sourced from floor performance and Quality insights

- Track specialty knowledge decay and trigger re-certification where needed
- Perform Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for specialty certification based on business requirements
- Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and post-certification floor performance
- Maintain training records, attendance, certification reports, and specialty training dashboards
- Ensure all training content and delivery comply with HIPAA and healthcare industry standards

Quality Assurance & Governance

- Self-review certification assessments and Bridge Program content for accuracy and consistency before delivery
- Serve as a first-line resource for specialty-specific questions raised by associates, Process Trainers, or Operations, escalating complex or ambiguous cases to the Manager
- Incorporate coaching and feedback from the Manager into content and delivery improvements
- Ensure specialty content reflects current industry, payer, and regulatory standards before use in certification

Domain Expertise

Strong working knowledge across: Dental, Home Care, SNF/Home Health, Behavioral Health, Urgent Care, Ambulatory Surgery, Rehab/PT/OT, DME/HME, Ambulance Billing, Retail Health, and Radiology/Infusion (but not limited to these).

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Required Experience
- Minimum 6 years of overall experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in any of the following roles: Senior Executive, Subject Matter Expert (SME), Process Coach, Quality Analyst, or Team Leader
- Experience developing training curriculum and content
- Experience training batches on multiple healthcare specialties

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to process-improvement methodologies
- Experience administering an LMS and building e-learning/micro-learning modules
- Experience supporting multi-specialty or multi-client RCM training portfolios
- Prior experience in a healthcare BPO/RCM organization
- Exposure to certification/assessment design for specialty or technical training tracks

Geo Responsibility

Responsible for specialty training delivery across multiple center's and willing to travel to other locations based on business requirements.
