TOOL ROOM VMC SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage daily Tool Room VMC machining operations.
- Handle VMC machines for tool, mould, die and precision component machining.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; and machining specifications.
- Monitor VMC setting, tooling, offsets and machining parameters.
- Coordinate with VMC Operators, Tool Room Engineers and Production teams.
- Ensure components are manufactured according to required dimensions and quality standards.
- Monitor machine utilization, production targets and job completion schedules.
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling-related issues.
- Check tools, cutters, fixtures and workholding arrangements.
- Ensure proper machine maintenance and minimize machine downtime.
- Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Maintain tool room records, production reports and shift-related documentation.
- Ensure workplace safety and proper housekeeping in the tool room.





Candidate Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, Production or related field.
- 1–6 years of experience in Tool Room VMC operations/supervision.
- Robust knowledge of VMC machining and tool room activities.
- Experience in mould/die/tool manufacturing will be preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC programming, setting and offset correction is an advantage.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good team-handling and supervisory skills.
- Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
