Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified, dedicated, and enthusiastic Social Science Teacher (TGT) to teach students at the middle and secondary school levels. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to make Social Science engaging and interactive.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Social Science subjects, including History, Geography, Political Science (Civics), and Economics, as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with CBSE and NCERT guidelines.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions using innovative teaching methodologies.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments to evaluate student learning.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide remedial support wherever required.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessments.
- Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and awareness of current affairs.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus according to the academic calendar.
- Conduct regular assessments and analyze student performance.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and academic activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Support school events,



examinations, competitions, and other assigned responsibilities.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. qualification as required under applicable CBSE and regulatory norms.
- CTET qualification preferred, where applicable.
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and NCERT textbooks.

Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred.
- Experience teaching Social Science to Classes VI–X.
- Familiarity with competency-based education and up-to-date teaching methodologies.

- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency in English communication and teaching.
- Ability to use smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
