Work Mode: In-person tendering; work from office and site visits as required

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tendering professional with a background in the construction and interior industry. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end tender preparation, estimation, rate analysis, BOQ review, vendor quotation coordination, and timely tender submission. The role requires attending physical tender meetings, visiting project sites, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to prepare competitive and commercially viable bids.

Key Responsibilities1. Tender Preparation & Submission

- Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Prepare and review detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Analyse tender requirements, scope of work, eligibility criteria, and submission conditions.
- Prepare techno-commercial tender documents and proposals.
- Ensure all required documents, forms, declarations, and supporting certificates are compiled accurately.
- Submit tenders within prescribed deadlines, including physical submission wherever required.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and participate in in-person tender discussions.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants to resolve tender queries and clarifications.
- Track tender deadlines, submission status, and results.

1. Estimation & Rate Analysis

- Prepare detailed BOQs, estimates, and item-wise rate analysis.
- Calculate material, labour, equipment,



transportation, and other project costs.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors for tender pricing.
- Prepare comparative statements to evaluate quotations and identify competitive rates.
- Assess project scope, site conditions, specifications, and execution requirements before finalizing estimates.
- Coordinate with management to finalize tender pricing, margins, and commercial terms.

1. In-Person Tendering & Site Coordination

- Visit project sites to understand actual site conditions and scope of work.
- Attend physical tender openings, pre-bid meetings, client meetings, and site inspections as required.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and project teams for tender-related information.
- Collect and verify site measurements and technical details required for estimation.
- Ensure compliance with tender submission procedures and client requirements.

1. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain a database of submitted, upcoming, awarded, and unsuccessful tenders.
- Prepare tender status reports and maintain records of estimates and quotations.
- Review tender terms and conditions, payment terms, completion schedules, and contractual requirements.




- Identify commercial risks and highlight discrepancies or missing information before submission.
- Maintain proper documentation for future reference and project handover after tender award.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Solid knowledge of tendering, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis.
- Experience in construction, commercial interiors, or interior fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of civil, architectural, and interior finishing materials and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tender costing tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict submission deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and attend physical tender meetings.

Qualification & Experience
- BE / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in tendering and estimation within the construction or interior industry.
- Prior experience independently handling end-to-end tender submissions is preferred.

Work Requirements
- Work Location: Mumbai – Head Office and project sites.
- Work Mode: In-person; this is not a remote role.
- The candidate must be comfortable with physical tender submissions, site inspections, pre-bid meetings, and client coordination.
