Role Description The Tendering Engineer will be responsible for managing end-to-end tender processes, including reviewing tender documents, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating quotations in line with HPIPL’s standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida involves analyzing project requirements, estimating costs, and collaborating with engineering, sales, and procurement teams to ensure competitive and compliant bids.

The Tendering

Engineer will interact with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify specifications, negotiate terms, and support contract finalization. Day-to-day tasks include preparing bid documentation, maintaining tender databases, tracking tender outcomes,



and providing post-tender support and technical clarifications when required. The role also requires adherence to company quality, safety, and compliance protocols while contributing to process improvements in the tendering function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to review tender documents, interpret technical requirements, and prepare accurate cost estimations.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to interact with clients, internal teams, and vendors, and to prepare transparent technical and commercial proposals.
- Candidates should possess expertise in preparing quotations and bid proposals, including price breakdowns, terms and conditions, and supporting documentation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of procurement processes, vendor coordination, and material sourcing to support competitive and timely tender submissions.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline to understand technical specifications and system designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field) or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Experience in tendering, estimation, or project coordination in infrastructure, construction, or engineering domains will be beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with tender portals and documentation standards will be advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
