Teller Job Role Description A Bank Teller is responsible for handling routine financial transactions and providing frontline customer service in a branch. The role requires accuracy in cash handling, strong communication skills, and adherence to bank security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, cheque cashing, and fund transfers.
- Maintain and balance the cash drawer with accuracy at the start and end of each shift.
- Verify customer identification and follow security protocols for protected and compliant transactions.
- Provide information on banking products and services and guide customers with basic account-related queries.
- Identify and report suspicious or fraudulent activities as per bank procedures.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of all transactions.
- Assist customers with ATM-related queries and basic digital/online banking support.
- Ensure a professional, courteous, and customerfocused service environment at the branch.
