Role Overview

We are looking for a Tekla Lead Modeller to independently manage modelling and detailing of pre-engineered buildings (PEB) and structural steel buildings. The role includes leading the modelling team, maintaining drawing quality, developing templates, and implementing automation to improve productivity.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Tekla modelling and detailing for industrial buildings, warehouses, mezzanines, platforms, and multistorey steel structures.
- Model built-up and tapered PEB members, connections, bracing, purlins, and secondary steelwork based on approved design inputs.
- Prepare and review general arrangement, fabrication, assembly, single-part, and erection drawings.
- Check model accuracy, numbering, drawing consistency, material reports, and fabrication outputs.
- Create and maintain drawing templates, title blocks, report templates, drawing settings, and company modelling standards.
- Develop reusable custom components and standard connection libraries.
- Implement automation using macros and tools; Tekla Open API/C# development experience is an advantage.




- Coordinate with structural engineers, connection designers, fabricators, and erection teams to resolve technical queries.
- Allocate work, mentor modellers and detailers, and manage delivery schedules.
- Control revisions and incorporate approved changes across models, drawings, and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Tekla Structures, particularly PEB and structural steel detailing.
- Practical understanding of fabrication, bolting, welding, connection detailing, and erection requirements.
- Proven experience in template creation, custom components, and standardisation.
- Ability to interpret structural drawings and implement approved connection details.
- Experience checking team deliverables and independently managing projects.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

- Tekla Template Editor, Drawing Layout Editor, and Organiser.
- Tekla Open API, C#, macros, or other relevant automation experience.
- Experience generating and checking BOMs, material take-offs, and NC/DSTV files.
- Exposure to Indian and international steel detailing practices.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
