Key Responsibilities

1. Tekla Structures – Modelling &
- Detailing

- Develop accurate 3D structural models using Tekla Structures.

- Prepare detailed PEB structural models as per approved design and specifications.

- Generate GA drawings, assembly drawings, part drawings and erection drawings.

- Prepare fabrication and shop drawings with accurate dimensions and specifications.

- Create and verify connections, bolts, plates, stiffeners and other structural components.

- Generate accurate BOM / Material Take-Off from Tekla models.

- Check model integrity, clashes and drawing accuracy before release.

- Incorporate design revisions and client/project requirements.

1. STAAD.Pro – Structural Analysis &
- Design

- Prepare structural models in STAAD.Pro for PEB and structural steel projects.

- Perform structural analysis for applicable load combinations.

- Apply and evaluate dead load, live load, wind load and other relevant loads.

- Interpret analysis results and identify critical members.

- Carry out structural member design/checks as required.

- Coordinate structural analysis results with Tekla detailing.

- Support preparation and review of design calculations.

1. Drawing &
- Documentation

- Prepare detailed fabrication and erection drawings.

- Ensure drawings are dimensionally accurate and production-ready.

- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.

- Check drawings against approved design and engineering requirements.

- Ensure proper detailing of structural members, connections and accessories.

- Coordinate drawing corrections before final issue.

1. Coordination

- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Project and Site teams.

- Clarify technical issues related to drawings and structural detailing.

- Coordinate with engineers and project managers for design changes.

- Provide technical support to fabrication and erection teams.

- Resolve discrepancies between structural design, Tekla models and fabrication drawings.

1. Quality &
- Compliance

- Ensure all drawings and models meet company quality standards.





- Follow project specifications, applicable design codes and client requirements.

- Conduct self-checks and drawing/model quality checks.

- Minimize errors, rework and material wastage through accurate detailing.

- Maintain proper version control of drawings and models.

Required Technical Skills

- Solid knowledge of Tekla Structures.

- Working knowledge of STAAD.Pro.

- Strong understanding of PEB / Structural Steel detailing.

- Knowledge of fabrication and erection drawings.

- Understanding of structural steel members and connections.

- Knowledge of BOM and material take-off.

- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.

- Knowledge of structural loading and load combinations.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 3+ years of relevant experience in PEB / Structural Steel.

- Strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures.

- Practical experience with STAAD.Pro.

- Candidates from PEB manufacturing / structural steel companies preferred.

- Mechanical/Civil Engineering background preferred.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

- Good coordination and communication skills.

- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.

- Accuracy of Tekla models and fabrication drawings.

- Timely completion of assigned projects.

- Drawing error and rework percentage.

- Accuracy of BOM / material take-off.

- Compliance with project specifications.

- Coordination efficiency with design, production and site teams.

- Timely incorporation of design revisions.

- Overall quality of detailing and documentation.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
