We are looking for a Technical Architect / SCM Transformation Lead with a robust blend of Project Management (60%) and Technical Expertise (40%). The role will drive enterprise-wide DevOps and SCM transformation initiatives, lead platform modernization programs, manage stakeholder engagement, and oversee delivery governance across distributed teams.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Backstage, Infrastructure Architecture, and DevOps platforms, coupled with proven experience in managing large-scale transformation and migration programs.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery Leadership (60%)

- Lead end-to-end SCM and DevOps transformation programs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and engineering groups.
- Define project roadmaps, timelines, risks, dependencies, and governance frameworks.
- Drive program tracking, status reporting, executive communication, and stakeholder management.




- Manage migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Establish governance, compliance, and best-practice adoption across engineering teams.
- Facilitate decision-making, issue resolution, and escalation management.

Technical Architecture & Platform Engineering (40%)

- Define SCM architecture and platform strategy.
- Design and implement GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, and Backstage solutions.
