We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to drive the architecture, design, and development of scalable digital platforms. The role requires a strong backend engineering foundation, solution architecture expertise, stakeholder management capabilities, and a passion for building high-quality products.

The ideal candidate will own backend architecture and development while providing technical oversight for web and mobile applications. This is a highly technical leadership role where you will be expected to contribute to design decisions, code, and delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive the technical architecture for scalable, secure, and resilient applications.
- Create and review High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and technical specifications.
- Design and develop backend services, APIs, and microservices using Golang and modern cloud-native technologies.
- Own database architecture, data modelling, schema design, performance optimization, and scalability strategies.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Design, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical governance and architectural oversight for mobile and web application development.
- Lead code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and ensure adherence to quality, security, and performance standards.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive production readiness, monitoring,



observability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI capabilities to improve engineering productivity and product experiences.

Required Technical Skills

- 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, with experience leading complex product or platform development initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience in Golang (preferred). Experience in Java, Node.js, or similar backend technologies is a plus.
- Expertise in designing and building microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, caching, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, and technical design documents.
- Robust expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, including database design, data modeling, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
- Experience with API design, REST, GraphQL, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, OWASP principles, and secure coding practices.
