About Rajmuni Industrial Polymers

Rajmuni Industrial Polymers is developing a manufacturing venture focused on polyurethane (PU) wear-resistant products and engineered components for mining, mineral processing, coal, steel, cement and other heavy industries.

Our planned product portfolio includes PU screen panels, chute and hopper liners, conveyor skirting, scraper blades, impact bars, wear strips and other industrial PU components.

We are seeking an experienced technical professional who can lead plant establishment, machinery commissioning, process development, production operations, quality control and technical team training.

Position Overview The Technical Head & Plant Manager will take primary technical responsibility for establishing and developing our cast-PU manufacturing operation. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in polyurethane elastomer processing and the ability to build reliable, repeatable production processes.

This is a technical leadership role for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot production problems and help develop new products from initial trials to commercial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Raw Materials & PU Formulation

A. Understand polyurethane prepolymers, curing agents, hardness selection, formulation ratios and material compatibility. B. Work with raw-material suppliers to select appropriate systems for different wear applications.

C. Establish controlled material preparation, heating, mixing and curing procedures.

1. Machinery & Plant Establishment

A. Support selection, installation and commissioning of PU casting machinery and auxiliary equipment. B. Understand heated tanks, metering and mixing systems, vacuum degassing, moulds, curing ovens and finishing equipment.

C. Establish production workflows, equipment operating procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.

1. Product Development

A. Develop manufacturing processes for PU screen panels, chute and hopper liners, conveyor skirting,



scraper blades, impact bars and wear components. B. Evaluate product designs, mould requirements, hardness and application-specific performance.

C. Support prototype development, product trials and continuous improvement.

D. Coordinate with suppliers or external specialists when recent formulations or processes require additional expertise.

1. Production & Troubleshooting

A. Lead day-to-day manufacturing and train production operators. B. Troubleshoot bubbles, voids, incomplete curing, hardness variation, dimensional defects and inconsistent batches.

C. Improve production consistency, material utilisation, first-pass yield and equipment uptime.

D. Plan production schedules, material requirements and batch documentation.

1. Quality Control

A. Establish inspection procedures for hardness, dimensions, appearance and relevant mechanical properties. B. Coordinate abrasion, tear-strength and other performance testing as required.

C. Maintain batch traceability, quality records, standard operating procedures and corrective-action reports.

1. Safety & Compliance

A. Establish safe chemical-handling procedures, appropriate ventilation, exposure controls and PPE. B. Ensure safe operation of heated equipment and compliance with applicable workplace requirements.

C. Ensure appropriate controls for curing agents and other hazardous raw materials.

1. Technical Team Leadership

A. Train operators and helpers in production procedures and quality standards. B. Build a disciplined, quality-focused manufacturing team.

C. Coordinate with machinery manufacturers,



raw-material suppliers and technical service teams.

D. Provide regular reports on production, quality, material consumption and technical development.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Preferably 7–15 years of relevant experience, with substantial hands-on experience in cast polyurethane elastomer manufacturing.

Practical knowledge of hot-cast PU processing, prepolymer–curative systems, curing and troubleshooting.

Experience with PU casting machinery, production setup and process optimisation.

Experience in mining wear products, PU screen panels, hydrocyclone components or industrial wear liners will be highly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to establish production processes, train operators and lead a manufacturing team.

Strong problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.

Willingness to work on-site in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.

Candidates with direct cast-PU experience will be preferred over those whose experience is limited to conventional rubber or plastic processing.

Shortlisted candidates will undergo a technical interview and employment verification. Candidates may be asked to explain their approach to establishing production for a mining screen panel and troubleshooting common casting defects. Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
