Role As the Team Manager - Maintenance (Battery Pack Assembly), you will be part of the Operations and will report to the Section Head - Maintenance (EV). The purpose of your role will be to manage breakdown maintenance & preventive maintenance of the automated battery manufacturing line equipped with robots & glue dispensing machines to ensure smooth functioning of equipment by eliminating hindrances to production.

A Purpose Driven Role for You Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Attending to the breakdown & PM, CBM, TBM of various equipment like ABB & Mitsubishi Scara Robots, Graco & Netzsch pumps, Conveyors, Battery Tester, Cognex Vision systems, Festo drives & Ador EOL testing machines in the fully automated Battery Pack Manufacturing line.
2. Attending and resolving machinery breakdowns with root cause analysis & CAPA.
3. Hands-on experience in Mitsubishi PLC (Q series) and HMI for diagnosis of faults & logic modifications as per requirements.
4. Directing and supporting technicians to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems, diagnosing & repairing electrical problems in ABB, Mitsubishi robots, pumps, and conveyors & Mitsubishi PLC.
5. Ensuring daily maintenance MIS reporting in SAP for breakdowns & PM, TBM, CBM.
6. Ensuring protected working practices & identifying/helping to eliminate unsafe conditions.

A Day in the Life Manage the EV Battery pack line and Drive train Assembly line, reducing breakdown frequency and hours to ensure smooth functioning by eliminating production hindrances. Handle daily shifts, allocate manpower as per the standards, ensure the safety of personnel, maintain motivation, utilize resources as per set targets, reduce rejections,



and achieve daily set production volume targets ensuring quality standards.

Academic Qualification & Experience

- B.E / B.Tech - Electrical / Electronics, preferably with 6 to 8 years of experience, or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics with 10 to 12 years in an automated Battery Pack Manufacturing line with ABB, Robots, Mitsubishi PLC, Cognex Vision systems & Graco gluing systems.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Hands-on experience in Mitsubishi PLC (Q series) and HMI for diagnosis of faults & logic modifications as per requirements.
2. Ability to implement digitization, automation, and IoT projects across the plant.
3. Knowledge of EV battery pack equipment, SCARA Robots & Amada Welding Robots.
4. Familiarity with conveyors, UPS, PLC, vision systems.
5. Understanding of adhesive dispensing equipment.
6. Experience in maintenance and projects.
