Team Leader, PMA Engineering

Aeronics Emaroh LLP is a world class PMA designer, contract manufacturer and MRO facility for the commercial aviation industry, located in Yeshwantpur, Bengaluru. We are looking for a Team Leader Design Engineer, Mechanical for commercial aircraft and engine components mechanical and electo-mechnical parts for the Aerospace Industry. Aeronics is an AS9100 certified company with all business from US customers.

This position with a team of 4 members will be fully dedicated provide services from Aeronics to a US PMA company.

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise a team of 3 employees to provide excellent service
- Perform reverse engineering to the requirements of Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) Product Manufacturing Approval (PMA).
- Design parts in SolidWorks to deliver drawings, IGES files, etc.




- Perform drawing updates and digitization of existing designs
- Disassemble parts and take dimensions.
- Perform tolerance analysis and stack up
- Prepare PMA packages with drawings, justification for materials and dimensions to FAA requirements
- Prepare reports to track performance

Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a good institution
- Ten to fifteen years of experience designing products in SolidWorks
- Minimum 3 years experience in supervising a team
- Must be an expert in SolidWorks
- Valuable analytical skills and ability to write technical justifications.
- Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
