Role Description This is a full-time remote Team Lead role.

The Team

Lead will oversee a cross-functional team, set priorities, and coordinate daily activities to ensure timely delivery of projects related to Taxcart’s global tax engine.

Responsibilities include managing workflows, monitoring performance metrics, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and supporting team members through coaching and feedback.

Lead will participate in planning and process improvement, help resolve operational issues, and ensure that best practices are followed across projects.



This role also involves collaborating closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to align work with business goals.

- Leadership and people management skills, including team coordination, mentoring, and performance oversight.
- Project and process management skills, such as planning, prioritization, and workflow optimization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and comfort making data-informed decisions.
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or tax/finance-related products is beneficial.
- Familiarity with global tax concepts (sales tax, VAT, GST) or willingness to learn quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
