Experience

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Network and Information Security.

- Minimum 1 year of experience working as an L3 Network/Security Engineer

- Experience in operational support and management of enterprise network and security infrastructure.

Certifications

- CCNA / CCNP (Routing & Switching / Security) certification is preferred.

- Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, or other relevant OEM certifications will be an added advantage.

Key Skills & Technical Competencies

Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, and firewalls.

- Strong hands-on experience in administration and operational support of enterprise firewall solutions.

- Thorough knowledge of standard firewall features, including:

Routing and NAT

- Security policies and access control
- Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN
- High Availability
- Authentication and related security features

- Experience in supporting firewalls through centralized management platforms.

- Good understanding of network and security architecture in multi-location environments.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to handle complex network and security issues.

- Ability to understand customer requirements and perform required firewall configuration changes as part of operational support.

- Experience in firewall OS/firmware upgrades, major version upgrades, hotfixes, and patches.





- Ability to raise and manage technical support cases with OEMs and coordinate with them until resolution.

- Experience working within established incident, problem, and change management processes.

- Ability to analyze recurring technical issues and identify appropriate corrective actions.

- Knowledge of other cybersecurity solutions will be an added advantage.

- Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation such as SOPs, operational documents, troubleshooting guides, and other technical documentation.

- Should keep updated with new security features and technologies and identify relevant features that can improve the security posture and operational efficiency.
