Digital Marketing Team Leader – Job Requirements

Position: Digital Marketing Team Leader

Experience:4 -6+ years

Location: Phase 8B, Mohali

Employment: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the digital marketing/SEO team and distribute daily tasks.
- Review team members’ work and ensure quality and deadlines are met.
- Develop and execute SEO and digital marketing strategies for clients.
- Handle On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, Local SEO and Off-Page SEO.
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP).
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and website audits.
- Work with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads and other SEO tools.
- Monitor keyword rankings, traffic, leads and overall campaign performance.
- Prepare and review monthly SEO/digital marketing reports.
- Identify SEO issues and provide actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate with developers, content writers and other team members for implementation.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI search, AEO/GEO and AI Overviews.
- Communicate with clients when required and provide project updates.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and according to client requirements.
- Train and mentor junior SEO/digital marketing team members.

Required Skills:

- Robust knowledge of SEO and digital marketing.




- Good understanding of Google Search Console, GA4 and Google Business Profile.
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, technical SEO, on-page SEO, local SEO and link building.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog or similar.
- Basic understanding of WordPress and website structure.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Ability to identify problems independently and take ownership of projects.
- Strong understanding of Google algorithm updates and current SEO practices.

Preferred:

- Experience managing a team of SEO/digital marketing professionals.
- Experience handling international/local SEO campaigns.
- Knowledge of PPC/Google Ads, social media marketing and conversion optimization.
- Experience with AI search optimization, AEO/GEO and LLM visibility.
- Previous experience in an agency environment is preferred.

What We’re Looking For: We need someone who can lead the team, review and improve their work, solve SEO problems independently, and take responsibility for client projects rather than someone who only follows assigned tasks.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
