TCS Hiring - Windchill Support Engineer - 5 to 15 years - PAN India

We are looking for a Windchill Support Engineer with hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining PTC Windchill PLM environments. The ideal candidate should possess solid functional and technical knowledge of Windchill modules, user support, issue resolution, system administration, and incident management.

Must Have Skills

- 3+ years of experience in PTC Windchill Support.
- Strong knowledge of Windchill PLM functionalities and workflows.
- Experience in troubleshooting Windchill application issues.
- Knowledge of Parts, Documents, CAD Documents, Change Management, and BOM Management.
- Experience in user access management, role configuration, and permissions.
- Ability to analyze logs and identify root causes of issues.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
- Understanding of SQL queries and database concepts.
- Exposure to Windchill upgrades, patches, and system monitoring.
- Knowledge of CAD integrations such as Creo, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks.





Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for Windchill PLM applications.
- Resolve incidents, service requests, and production support issues.
- Monitor application health and system performance.
- Support users in Parts, Documents, Change Notices, Change Requests, and Workflow processes.
- Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
- Manage user creation, access provisioning, and security roles.
- Support deployments, upgrades, and patch activities.
- Maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
- Participate in on-call support activities when required.

Good to Have
- Experience in Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, or MPMLink.
- Knowledge of Windchill Customization and Configuration.
- Exposure to Java, JSP, SQL, and Shell Scripting.
- Understanding of CAD integrations and publishing processes.
- Experience working with global clients and support models.
