Job Type: Infrastructure Support / System Administration

We are looking for an experienced Tandem / HPE NonStop Engineer to manage, administer, and support mission-critical enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with HPE NonStop (Tandem) operating systems, system administration, production support, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support HPE NonStop (Tandem) operating systems.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
- Handle L2/L3 production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery operations.
- Monitor and manage Spooler, NetBatch, EMS events, and system console operations.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
- Support high-availability and mission-critical environments.
- Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams.




- Participate in rotational shifts, on-call support, and critical incident handling.

Mandatory Skills

- Solid hands-on experience with Tandem / HPE NonStop OS.
- Experience in system administration and production support.
- Knowledge of system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
- Ability to support mission-critical enterprise systems.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Knowledge of Spooler, NetBatch, Expand, EMS events, and system console operations.
- Experience with system upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
- Scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Exposure to OpenVMS, Linux, cloud migration, or infrastructure modernization.

Candidate Requirements

- 8–12 years of total IT experience.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience as specified in the requisition.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model and attend a face-to-face interview in Chennai.
- Ability to work during the specified shift timings.
