Rainbow Group of Companies is a fast-growing education group headquartered in Thane, running Rainbow Preschool International and allied businesses across multiple branches. As we scale, we are building a strong in-house Talent Acquisition function and are looking for a hands-on leader to drive it.

Role Overview

As Talent Acquisition Lead, you will own hiring for the entire group and lead a team of recruiters. This is a hard-core, target-driven recruitment role for someone who knows the Thane talent market inside out and enjoys closing positions fast without compromising on quality.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

- Lead, coach and manage a team of recruiters; allocate requirements and set daily, weekly and monthly targets
- Monitor team productivity (calls, line-ups, interviews, offers, joinings) and drive accountability
- Train recruiters on sourcing, screening, pitching and closing

End-to-End Recruitment
- Own the full hiring cycle: requirement understanding, JD creation, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, salary negotiation, offer roll-out and joining follow-up
- Personally handle critical, senior and hard-to-fill positions
- Drive volume hiring for sales/admissions counsellors, teachers, centre staff, operations and corporate roles

Sourcing and Talent Pipeline
- Source aggressively through Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, Apna, WorkIndia, referrals, social media, walk-ins and job fairs
- Build and maintain ready talent pools in Thane, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai to reduce time-to-hire
- Use Boolean search, headhunting and networking to reach passive candidates





Stakeholder Management and Reporting
- Work closely with management and branch/centre heads on manpower planning and hiring priorities
- Ensure positions are closed within agreed TAT and budget
- Maintain recruitment trackers and MIS; report on time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratio, source effectiveness and cost per hire
- Reduce offer dropouts through strong candidate engagement and follow-ups
- Strengthen employer branding and candidate experience

What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in hard-core, end-to-end recruitment
- Must have experience leading and managing a team of recruiters
- Must have done hands-on recruitment from Thane location, with robust knowledge of the local talent market
- Proven track record of working on hiring targets and closing high volumes
- Experience in education, preschool, retail, BFSI or sales hiring is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Expert in job portals and sourcing tools; good with MS Excel and recruitment MIS
- Self-driven, organised and comfortable in a fast-paced, growing organisation
