The Stainless Steel Scrap Yard Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily scrap yard operations, ensuring safe handling, sorting, storage, processing, and dispatch of stainless steel scrap materials. The role includes supervising workers, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring quality standards, and meeting production and safety targets.

Principal Accountabilities*

Supervise daily scrap yard operations and manage the workforce effectivelybr Ensure proper sorting grading and segregation of stainless steel scrap including SS 304 316 and 202br Monitor the loading unloading weighing and dispatch of scrap materials to ensure accuracy and efficiencybr Maintain accurate inventory and stock records to support operational transparency and accountabilitybr Coordinate with procurement production and logistics teams to optimize scrap yard operationsbr Ensure compliance with safety environmental and company policies to maintain a safe working environmentbr Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce the use of personal protective equipment among all personnelbr Monitor equipment such as forklifts cranes and loaders and report any maintenance requirements promptlybr Inspect incoming scrap for quality and contamination to uphold material standardsbr Prepare daily production inventory and dispatch reports to provide explicit operational insightsbr Train and motivate yard personnel to improve productivity and operational efficiency
