Role Description This is a full-time, in office Study Abroad Counsellor role based in Jaipur. The counsellor will guide prospective students through the entire process of studying abroad, including understanding their academic and career goals, shortlisting suitable countries and universities, and explaining application and admission requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counselling sessions, managing inquiries, assisting with document preparation, coordinating with universities or partner agencies, and tracking application progress. The role also involves providing information on tests, scholarships, visa procedures, and financial planning, while maintaining accurate records in internal systems and following up with students and families in a timely, professional manner.



The counsellor is expected to collaborate with colleagues to support outreach activities, seminars, and information sessions, and to stay updated on international education trends and policies.

Qualifications

- Strong counselling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student aspirations and recommend suitable study abroad options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, families, and international partners.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple applications, deadlines, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, standardized tests, and visa requirements (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Proficiency with common office software and digital tools for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counselling, or international relations is an advantage.
- Prior experience in student counselling, overseas education consulting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, maintain professional ethics, and support a diverse set of students without bias.
